Haiti Project Information
At But God Ministries, we work in 7 SPHERES of ministry as we build sustainable communities. Many families living in the Haitian communities we serve lack opportunities to provide basic needs within each of these categories. Below is information about some projects which will meet those needs. While working alongside local Haitians to complete the projects, mission teams have the opportunity to build relationships and share the Gospel during their trip. Many lives are changed forever through these projects!

Build a Home
Cost: $6,465
Learn More
Many families living in extreme poverty are living in structures made of sticks and mud with dirt floors. During storms, there is little protection for them and the inside of their homes from the water, leaving a wet mess. A concrete structure with a metal roof and a solid door is truly a life changing gift!
The cost for this home in the villages of Galette Chambon or Thoman also includes hiring the local Haitian construction company, which supports the local economy and creates jobs for many people. Mission teams can also assist the crew when a home is built during their trip.
Food Distribution in Thoman
Cost: $25/per family
Learn More
Many of the poorest families in the Thoman area need assistance providing the very basic need of food for their families. A donation of $25 will buy a portion of rice, beans, and oil that will feed a family for weeks. Mission teams can collect from $500-$1,000 in donations to buy food to distribute during their trip.

Cost: $80/each

Build a Home – Mathias
Cost: $8,730
Learn More
Many families in the remote village of Mathias (Thoman area) living in extreme poverty are living in structures made of sticks and mud with dirt floors. During storms, there is little protection for them and the inside of their homes from the water, leaving a wet mess. Due to the remote location of the village of Mathias, there are no roads for vehicles to carry supplies for building a home; therefore, all of the building materials must be transported by animals or people. Mission teams can also assist the crew when a home is built during their trip.
